Hi Danny! What about spend some days in the heart of Chianti region, right in the middle of Tuscany between Florence, Siena and Pisa! This is Certaldo which is a lovely town with a wonderful medieval town on top of hill and it just 10 mins driving from San Gimignano! There's a very nice 4 stars hotel (and cheap!): Hotel Certaldo www.hotelcertaldo.it, which was an old mill belonged to the De' Medici family! You will have the possibility to spend a wonderful new year's eve!!! Take a look at it!

Hi!HAve a look at VILLA IL POGGIALE just a few kilometers from Florence and settled in the heart of Chianti with beautiful landscapes all around and a lovely countryside. The Villa itself is wonderful and they organize a nice party for the 31st of December  and on the 1st of January.
